‘Absolutely Fabulous’ – Rose of the Year 2010

Introduced at Hampton Court 2009, ‘Absolutely Fabulous’ is a worthy winner of the prestigous ‘Rose of The Year 2010′ award.

‘Absolutely Fabulous’ is a floribunda (clsuter-flowered) rose, with a lovely flower form and a very distinctive fragrance.

Reaching about 75cm/30″ in height, the flowers open into a delightful flat form in the old-fashioned style, shading from pale primrose at the outer edges to old gold at the centre. The intoxicating fragrance is an unusual combination of licorice and sweetness.

Raised in California by world famous rose hybridist Tom Carruth, it has been tested in Britain for three years to ensure that it thrives in our climate, and has proved to be disease-free throughout the UK.

‘Absolutely Fabulous’ flowers from June to November. The plant habit is bushy and even. All-in-all a real value for money plant, priced at £7.99.

DAHLIAS – ‘HAPPY’ SERIES

Dahlia ‘Happy‘ is a series of proven dark leaved Dahlias, with superbly contrasting single flowers. Four varieties are available, and all have outstanding garden performance from now until the first frosts of autumn.

The blooms,10-12cm across, are produced very freely and are attractivto to butterflies and bees. The plants make super specimens in large containers, or can be planted in beds and borders.
