Coffee shop opening times are Nov-March 10-4pm and April-Oct 10-4.30pm
Visit ‘The Orchard Coffee Shop’ at Primrose Cottage Nursery & Garden Centre, and enjoy a relaxing drink, snack, or light meal. Our menu is quite extensive, and changed frequently to provide plenty of variety for regular customers, and all food is freshly prepared to order.
For a light snack, make your choice from our wide selection of sandwiches, toasties, baguettes, panini, baked potatoes, and soups. For larger appetites, daily specials such as Lamb Hotpot and Chicken Tikka Massala are featured on the blackboard. Vegetarians are well catered for with plenty of variety, and there is also a tasty childrens menu.
For those with a sweet tooth, we always have a tempting selection of freshly-baked cakes and mouth-watering desserts. In addition, traditional hot puddings such as Treacle Sponge or Blackberry and Apple Crumble served with custard, are always available.
Plenty of seating is available, either in the cosy interior (see photograph) or on the flower-filled outdoor terrace where, being situated only one mile from Manchester Airport, an excellent view of the aircraft can be guaranteed!
