A path from here links up with neighbouring Hare Hill Garden. Nearby Styal Country Park (2 Miles) offers both pleasant riverside walks and much historic interest at Quarry Bank Mill (right) and the factory colony village at Styal. There is another interesting watermill at Nether Alderley. Some of the area's most impressive country houses are also nearby, including Lyme Park, Tatton Park, and Dunham Massey. In addition, several privately owned stately homes, such as Capesthorne Hall, Gawsworth Hall and Arley Hall and Gardens are also close by.
